Back from a solo ascent to Everest Base Camp in 2020, I had to admit to myself that I had done too many jobs in the past few years that I didn't like enough:

“Too much office and PC” and “too little outdoors”. So it was time to take a different path and sign up for the hiking guide training with the Swiss Mountain Guide Association.

I already have an outdoor guide diploma and a master's degree in geography. So, it was only natural to found Hike Away in order to provide other people with unforgettable mountain experiences.

Where and when am I happiest?

In nature, far from social norms - be it hiking / trekking, climbing, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.

What's between me and my happiness?
Often, it is only a few altitude meters, a few drops of sweat or a few climbing moves.

How do I forget the time?
Nice company, interesting conversations, impressive landscapes,

sunrises and sunsets, campfires, breathtaking nights under the starry sky, ...

What does freedom mean to me?
To be able to get on the next train at any time, to go to the mountains and to sleep somewhere under the open sky.

What comes easily to me?
Interact with people and introduce them to my passion.

Who do I go on tour with?

With you!
